This pull request contains my visualization project analyzing global trends in access to clean cooking fuels and technologies from 2000 to 2023.

The project includes:

  • Replication of the original WHO chart using ggplot2
  • Analysis of strengths and weaknesses of the original visualization
  • Enhanced version with improved color scheme, proper stacking, and better typography
  • Discussion of design improvements and data insights

The visualization shows that while the absolute number of people without access decreased from ~3.1 billion to ~2.2 billion, the percentage with access increased from 49% to 75% over this period.
